they are now, but no one could be sure where that car had been or what
it had been put through.

On the other hand, if you get something that is only a few years old and has not been in an accident, you are going to get something that rivals that which you get with the purchase of a new car right off the truck. You may also get warranties for used cars if you buy directly from the owner, but these again will be very limited. Most private sellers do not offer you an sort of guarantee what so ever. When this happens, you don’t have any protection if the car is faulty. You should always have a mechanic check over any car you wish to buy secondhand, but it is even more important if you find that the ones you want don’t have any protection. Also remember that warranties for used cars are only as good as the person who issues that warranty. |
